Closing Date For JAMB Change of Course/Institution for 2016

We want to use this medium to inform all 2016 UTME candidates that based on previous experiences, the 2016 JAMB Change of Course and Institution may likely come to a close on Friday 29th, April 2016 and even if there's going to be any extension, it may not be more than 1 week from the stated date.

We understand that many candidates are waiting to know the cut-off marks of their respective institutions before making the decision on whether or not to go for change of course and institution. However, many of this institution usually wait until announcing their post-UTME sales of forms to make known their cut-off marks.

If you wait that long, you may have only succeeded in putting yourself in an unfavourable position because change of course and institution would have been very much over by that time.

So what you should rather do is make your decision based on the previous Post-UTME cut off marks of these institutions and effect the necessary changes immediately.

My Piece Of Advise To 2016 Post-UTME Candidates

There has been an uproar at the rate at which students fail their exams for the past three years.

This piece is going to show you the reasons behind the failures, preparation tips and success tips.
75% of students fail because of lack of preparation and 25% fails because of lack of material or proper guidance.

If you fail to prepare for exams, then prepare to fail. In writing an exam, ensure that you are properly guided. If possible, attend lectures, visit past questions and most importantly, make sure you read your books/materials according to the course outline or scheme of work provided by the examination body.

In the same vein, look for materials that are related to the course or subject and study it. There is a saying that "a stitch in time saves nine".

Talking about materials, please do well to get the Post-UTME past-questions of your choice institutions if you have not done so already. It is one material you shouldn't neglect. To get it simply, click here

Don't wait till few weeks to exam before you start your preparation. If possible, take mock exams to see where you are lagging behind and you can equally join any good study groups.

Early and proper preparation is what you need to pass your post-UTME in flying colours.

MAPOLY 1st Semester Examination 2015/2016 For ND Students Announced

This is to inform all National Diploma Students of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic  that the 1st Semester 2015/2016 examination will commence Monday 25th April, 2016.

This is against the earlier announced date of May 4th, 2016.

We wish all the students success in their exams.

Re: Public Notice To All Ospolites / ND Admission 2016 Applicants:

Contrary to rumours currently going round that authorities of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree are diverting ND full time into ND daily part time admission. Due consultations have been made between the Students' Union Government led by DM, Muhammed Surajudeen (IMOLE) and those at the helm of affairs, and it should be noted that the Ospoly management is only being magnanimously considerate by offering the rest of the candidates (interested) a second chance to get admitted into the school's DPT programmes by following the laid down requirement of DPT form at N10, 000 (plus) with acceptance instead of having to re-enroll for another POST UTME/Screening unlike it would new prospective students. Hence, we urge the students to endeavour to educate ourselves and prospective students to avoid further confusion. Ospoly and the S.U.G are committed to achieving socio-academic excellence and better welfare with your support; also let's dignify our campus and not encourage hawkers of puff-puff, pure water etc to enter our classes for sales again as it is not befitting the good image of our citadel and school security team would be on patrol. "Nothing Great Was Ever Achieved Without Enthusiasm". Kindly visit

Student Union Government Iree.
